Maryland New Directions, an award-winning non-profit organization providing no-cost employment coaching and specialized career training to people in and around Baltimore City, announced today it has been named a “2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, the leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits. Maryland New Directions currently oversees three programs offering industry-specific training and certifications to prepare motivated men and women for employment. The organization also provides supportive services including hard and soft skills development, job coaching, career planning and individual counseling to ensure more than 300 clients each year overcome barriers, earn a living wage and begin a new long-term career.
