Awbury Arboretum has teamed up with Let's Go Outdoors to offer FREE, family friendly programming at Awbury's in-progress pond restoration. Awbury Arboretum has teamed up with Let's Go Outdoors to offer FREE, family friendly programming at Awbury's in-progress pond restoration area. You will be greeted by friendly LGO educators who will give you the opportunity to participate in one or all three activities for the day: 1) A fun, easy, craft that you can take home with you, 2) Learn to Geocache (kind of like hide-and-seek where you find items using a GPS device), and/or 3) A nature walk around the pond to learn a little about the wetlands, meadow, trees, and/or other facts about the Wingohocking Creek and our water(ways). NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED - just show up. In the event that it is raining or there is otherwise inclement weather, the program will not be held. BEST PLACE TO PARK: The Washington Lane SEPTA Station on the side with the entrance to Awbury's property (right by the lake) - 823 East Washington Lane, 19138.
