Press release from the City of Ankeny: May 6, 2021 The City of Ankeny will start work on the SE Delaware Avenue and SE Corporate Woods Drive Intersection Improvement project on Monday, May 10, 2021, weather permitting. During construction, northbound SE Delaware Avenue and eastbound SE Corporate Woods Avenue will have lane closures, but at least one lane of traffic will be maintained in all directions. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2021. View the project location and find construction updates. For the safety of the construction workers, drivers are encouraged to slow down through the active construction zones. The project will widen SE Delaware Avenue to provide a second thru-lane and a right-turn lane for northbound traffic, and widen SE Corporate Woods Drive to provide two eastbound lanes between SE Delaware Avenue and the I-35 and SE Corporate Woods Drive Interchange southbound on-ramp.
