Detailer works as part of a Boat Dealership with both new, used boats and service boats that require detailing. We are a fun active environment, but we work extremely hard. Most of the work is outside and can get hot in the summer. We are a family run business with lots to enjoy. Our mission is to provide the best service and cleanest boats in the Valley. This can only be done by having the best detailers. Detailers are responsible for completing the reconditioning for Boats. Perform all additional duties assigned by designated manager or owners. Boats are different than cars, there are compartments, towers, bilges and engine compartments. Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following: > Interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, pre-wash, buffer, and quality control. >Maintain good operating condition of equipment and facilities, advising management of equipment breakdowns or maintenance needs. >Practice and promote teamwork within the department. >Work within established company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safety and security for employees and property. >Follow safe working procedures and reporting procedures for injuries, loss or damage of property > Practice and promote company Core Values. Detailer – Specific Responsibilities and Skills: > Wear proper, provided work shirts, wear proper footwear >Safety- Promote and follow safety procedures, by maintaining a clean work area and wearing protective equipment. > Detailed- Ability to pay attention to detail to make sure boats are up to company standards before they are displayed and/or delivered to customers >Tools- Ability to use cleaning tools such as: vacuums, pressure washer, drill, and cleaning chemicals. > Loads and unload washing and dryer machines while maintaining a clean towels Detailer Qualifications: > High School education or equivalent preferred > 1-3 years' experience in detailing > High attention to detail required >Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment > Professional appearance and work ethics > Excellent organizational skills > Valid driver's license is preferred > Hardworking, motivated team player > Responsible for the quality and quantity of work produced > Reliable, punctual, and dependable > Available to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends and overtime, as required Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: The physical activity requirements of the position are from Medium to Heavy Physical Work > Frequent – walking, talking, reaching, feeling, grasping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting > Occasional – climbing, balancing, crawling > Potential – running, jumping, yelling, or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards, such as electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to hot equipment and cleaning and chemicals; and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations. Pay scale: Entry level detailer starting at $13.50 to $16.50 depending of skill and experience.
