It’s funny how I felt like I’d never get over some things,
and it’s true.. my heart was broke, once
It changed me.
Entirely.
You know for years I wandered around in the dazed fog of that.
Ran a lot of miles on empty.
Surprising just how far one can go really on not much at all.
Even more surprising the sudden realization I’ve not checked the Seattle missed connections board for a long time now.
when I did..
I had no idea what to even look for
And I do not remember the name of the road leading home
Clocks offer so much more than time
And erase it all the same
Live and love right now
There is nothing else in the entire world outside of this very moment.
