SAN CLEMENTE, CA — On Thursday, an as-of-yet unidentified man entered the water just north of the San Clemente pier wearing...well, nothing.
According to those present at the pier, a barrage of emergency officials arrived to escort him out of the water, which took a great deal of coaxing, they say.
San Clemente lifeguards, Orange County Sheriff's Department and Harbor patrol all assisted in ultimately removing the man from the ocean, a spokesperson from the city of San Clemente said.
It is not yet known if the man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.
Patch has contacted the Orange County Sheriff's Department for more information and will update this report when that is received.
