We manage the day to day operations and repositioning of primarily multi and single family housing throughout the greater Denver metro area. Overview: The Maintenance Technician performs the upkeep, maintenance, turn management, and repairs for Deerwoods properties including single-family homes and multi-family buildings. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems in addition to normal wear and tear maintenance including make-ready units. Pay Rate: $22/hour (+ additional compensation for overtime and mileage when driving personal vehicle) Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm On-Call: Rotational (subject to change) Job Duties & Responsibilities: -Responsible to perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and drywall repairs as directed -Implement preventative maintenance measures -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with tenants, Deerwoods employees, vendors and clients to ensure work is done correctly and as needed -Complete assigned tasks with detailed notes and efficiency -Visit multiple properties and clear out all assigned tasks daily -Respond quickly to emergency situations during on-call rotation and follow all safety protocols -Perform other maintenance duties as assigned Skills & Qualification: -High school diploma or equivalent -Minimum 2 years property maintenance experience -Good attention to detail and ability to perform duties with integrity -Able to work efficiently either alone or with a team member -Experience working with vendors and tenants -Certifications or extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire/sprinkler systems -General knowledge, skill, and experience with hand and power tools -Ability to read, follow, and enforce instructions and procedures
