WEST CHESTER, PA — Police have charged a West Chester woman with burglary and other crimes after she allegedly took a dog from a Darlington Street home.
Around 6 p.m. on April 25, West Chester Borough Police were called to the 200 block of N. Darlington Street in the borough. Police said an investigation found that a woman had entered a home there without permission.
Elizabeth Ashley Graham, 46, of West Chester, removed a dog from the home, police said.
Graham was taken into custody without incident on May 4 and is charged with Burglary-Overnight Accommodations-Person Present, a first-degree felony, and with Criminal Trespass, a third-degree felony, according to court documents. She also faces two misdemeanor charges; Theft by Unlawful Taking of Movable Property and Receiving Stolen Property.
Bail was set at $15,000 and Graham has posted bail, according to court records.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 14 in Chester County District Court 15-1-01.
