Description
Preparing vacant apartments for occupancy to include painting and general maintenance.
· Overseeing the care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
· Ensuring a professional appearance and attitude, at all times.
· Maintaining the property during emergency situations such as fire, flood, and weather related events.
· Cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
· Ensuring a timely and courteous response to service requests, make-readies, etc.
· Having thorough knowledge of all policies and procedures, as well as community-specific policies.
· Ensuring operation within OSHA and EPA standards, as well as following all Fair Housing regulations.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· The ability to walk the property frequently and regularly while being exposed to outside weather conditions.
· The ability to climb stairs and ladders as business dictates.
· The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and on rare occasions, move over 100 pounds.
· Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) certification is not required but strongly suggested.
