Press release from Concord School District: May 6, 2021 Click here for Open Enrollment Documents and Webinars All webinars, benefit summaries and forms can be found at: https://sau8.org/departments/human_resources___payroll/benefits The annual open enrollment period for staff for 2021 will begin May 3, 2021 and will end Friday, May 28, 2021. In light of the current situation, we plan to hold 3 virtual open enrollment meetings throughout the month of May. These are tentatively scheduled for: Tuesday, May 4th Wednesday, May 12th and Monday, May 24th All virtual sessions are scheduled to begin at 3:30pm. Teams meeting invitations will be sent to all employees. Also new for this year, enrollment forms and other open enrollment documents will be sent to you via PandaDoc, which is the same platform we use to send you your District employment contract. Forms will be completed electronically, automatically send to HR once complete, and then you will receive a confirmation e-mail in return. If you are not newly enrolling or not making changes to your health, dental, vision or optional life insurance policies, there is nothing you need to do. If you are planning to participate in the flex spending program (Section 125) and/or dependent care you must complete and submit the Flex Spending Enrollment Form every year (even if you participated this past year or in prior years). If you are eligible for, and are interested in receiving a declination payment in lieu of enrolling in our group health insurance, you must complete and submit a declination form. This declination form must be submitted, along with your current medical ID/membership card every year. Health Insurance: There are no changes to the health insurance provisions. This year, as in the past year, anyone who is enrolled in the District's health insurance plan, is on Cigna's Yellow Plan with Choice Fund, or Consumer-Driven Health Plan (CDHP). The premium rates for the 2021-2022 school year are listed below. Please consult your collective bargaining agreement or individual contract for contribution rates or you can contact Melissa Witherspoon in HR if you have any questions. Single - $9,672/year 2-Person - $19,344/year Family - $26,112/year Dental Insurance: There are no changes to dental insurance coverage in 2021-2022. Vision Insurance: There is a slight decrease in the cost of vision insurance for the 2021-2022 year. Single - $50.04/year 2-Person - $85.80/year Family - $153.48/year Voluntary Life Insurance: There is no change to the cost of optional life insurance for the 2021-2022 year. Please consult the posted premium rates at https://sau8.org/departments/human_resources___payroll/benefits, under Voluntary Life Insurance. Flexible Spending/Dependent Care: The maximum election for flex spending for the 2021-2022 year is $2,750. Unlike in past years, all unused flex spending money at June 30, 2021 will roll over. The maximum election for dependent care for the 2021-2022 year is $5,000. Reminder: If you are currently enrolled in the health insurance you must take the Health Risk Assessment between June 1 and July 31 in order to activate your Choice Fund ($1,000 for single plans and $2,000 for 2-Person or family plans). Visit https://my.cigna.com to take this assessment. If you are newly enrolling in the health insurance, you must take the Health Risk Assessment between July 1 and August 31.
