SAN RAFAEL, CA — A San Rafael school district announced it will reopen for full day in-person learning on Monday.
The San Rafael City Schools district said it will move to its final phase of its return to in-person learning plan for elementary and middle schools (grades TK-8) after reaching a deal with the teachers union.
"We are incredibly appreciative to our elementary and middle school teachers for supporting this timeline, and for their flexibility, professionalism and tireless work to benefit our students and families," Superintendent Jim Hogeboom said in a statement.
"The end of any school year has so much meaning, and I strongly believe that having a more "normal" schedule with safety measures still in place will help us wrap up this very difficult year on a positive note!"
