Considering a run for local office?
The city will be hosting three virtual workshops on the official process of becoming a candidate in May and June. These 45-minute sessions will cover the basics and provide time to ask questions. Each session will start at 7 p.m., and the presentation will be recorded in case you can't make it. If you are considering running for office, serving as a campaign manager or if you are just generally curious about a topic, you can attend one or all the workshops.
Below are the workshop dates:
Tuesday, May 11 at 7 p.m. – filing for office Tuesday, May 25 at 7 p.m. – ranked-choice voting Tuesday, June 8 at 7 p.m. – campaign finance Register online.
