Expanded In-person Services
In keeping with new health guidelines, the City of Carlsbad is continuing to expand in-person services. Here are the latest changes:
Libraries
Beginning May 10Libraries open an extra two hours on the days they are open:
Georgina Cole Library
Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dove Library and Learning Center
Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Curbside service available Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Beginning May 24All libraries open six days a week and occupancy will increase to 50%Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cultural Arts
Beginning May 10Cannon Art Gallery open an extra two hours
Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Beginning May 24Cannon Art Gallery operating hours expand and occupancy will increase to 50%Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
New exhibit opens June 13
Beginning May 25Sculpture Garden welcomes first new exhibit in over a year
Parks & Recreation
As of May 1
Outdoor gatherings at park picnic areas and open space allowed for up to 50 people
Beginning May 17
Community centers with gyms will increase occupancy to 25% and will expand open hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Leo Carrillo Historic Park historic structures and visitor center will increase occupancy to 50%Open daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Faraday Center
Beginning May 24Public counter bill payment and building/development services will increase to:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Walk-in customers will be accepted, no appointments required
