Description
Found 05/03-4/21: female shepherd mix, not chipped, not fixed, adult, black with some tan markings on face and legs/paws, white chest. Fluffy, German shepherd-like tail of black, tan, and a little white.
She was found directly in front of Walmart in Alamo on Frontage Rd. She was in horrible shape and needed medical attention. She’s being looked after and treated, improving every single day. Treated for worms, minor body injury and infection.
Placing this as its very clear that someone loved her very dearly, impeccable manners, follows commands, awesome temperament, great with other dogs, cats, and other animals like goats and livestock birds. Curious but never aggressive, very playful and happy as can be. She’s truly a good girl.
She responds to male voices as if she almost recognizes them but realizes they aren’t right.
Absolutely adores car rides, relaxes immediately and either watches out the window or sleeps. Great at the vet, patient and calm always.
She is seemingly guarding my crops and livestock as if she has done this forever. It’s something my own dogs don’t even understand yet so it’s, honestly, baffling how she ended up a stray for long enough to develop such serious complications as a result of street life. She seems like someone’s farm dog that they really cared about.
I hope that her family sees this and knows that she is safe and will reach out. If not she has a home here with us where she will be loved and cared for always. She had a home here and she is safe and happy, but she misses you. If you believe that she may be your lost or abandoned dog please reach out—even if you don’t want to be reunited with her but just to let me know so that you don’t want her returned and to end the search for her family.
