GEORGIA — The other shoe dropped Sunday for a Villa Rica woman when she was caught at Atlanta's airport with 3 pounds of cocaine hidden in footwear she was carrying, authorities said. Amber Ellen Knight, 21, was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after inspectors found what they called "a white powdery substance" hidden in the bottoms of seven pairs of shoes in her luggage from Jamaica. The substance tested positive for cocaine, with an estimated street value of $40,000, according to a statement from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Knight was charged with trafficking cocaine and booked Sunday night into the Clayton County Jail, where online records show she's being held without bond. "Smugglers go through great lengths to conceal drugs from our officers," said Paula Rivera, CBP Port Director for the Area Port of Atlanta.
