We are looking for a reliable and honest caregiver for our elderly parents (1 is wheelchair bound) who live in Temple City, CA. We are a very nice, quiet and friendly family who treats our caregivers well and like family. We are looking for reliable, kind, honest and patient caregivers who really care about their work. Pay is $14-15 per hour depending on experience. Please only contact us if you fit all of the following criteria and can perform all the following duties and responsibilities. CRITERIA: -Must have a passion for caregiving and a desire to help others -Must be extremely reliable, promptly arrive at scheduled times, and have a commitment to being present and providing quality care -Must have a friendly, patient, compassionate and respectful personality -Must have ability to carry out directions, both verbal and written -Must have ability to effectively manage the multiple demands of the job -Must have reliable transportation to come to work on time -Must be available to work regular fixed shifts (8-12 hour shifts, several days a week) every week, including overnight shifts. -Must be COVID vaccinated -Must have references DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Prepare food, wash dishes and utensils, ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas and living areas, and help with chores like laundry. -Provide care and supervision to elderly to keep them safe -Assist with Activities for Daily Living: (bathing, showering, transferring, toileting, changing clothes, shaving, etc.) -Must speak enough English to effectively communicate. Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, and Spanish speakers a plus. -High school graduation or G.E.D. certificate preferred. At least 6 months of related experience. -Completion of First Aid and C.P.R. Certificates preferred. -Prior to employment, must clear criminal background check and be willing to be live-scanned. -Must be willing to take an online test to become a certified home care aid.
