Spark Rescue is a foster-based rescue and every person who opens up their home to a dog is a life saver!  Sadly, every year, millions of pets are killed in our nation's shelter system. These shelters are filled with loving animals looking for a second chance. It is Spark Rescue's mission to bring as many of these animals to safety as possible and place them in loving homes. The number of foster homes available determines the number of dogs that can be saved. Until those pets are placed in forever homes, they need a safe place to recover from their previous life of abandonment, neglect and/or abuse and injuries. That safe haven, where a lonely, frightened dog or cat can heal their broken heart and learn to trust humans again makes all the difference in that animals life, and is critical for their preparation for adoption.  https://www.sparkrescue.org/foster (The pictures shown are just a few of the rescue dogs in our care)
