Oak Stone Game Processing is looking for someone to assist our butcher with wild game processing. We are one of the few butchers in the county that takes wild game, and we are currently entering our busy season. Candidates can apply for either a part time or full time position; full time employees must be willing to assist in the other areas of our business (guided hunts and taxidermy) as well as general grounds keeping when the load in the meat room is light. We are interested in someone that has experience cutting meat or field dressing animals, however it is not a requirement. The assistant will help with cutting and packaging the meat, as well as making sausage. This position requires an ability to follow directions and set protocols, as well as an ability to lift at least 60 lbs. The candidate should also be able to work on their feet during an eight hour shift and be comfortable working in colder temperatures.
