Looking for experienced gear mechanic, or general mechanic who is interested in learning gear work. Excellent opportunity to train for gear work for 5-ton and over transmissions and differentials. Duties include, but not limited to, tearing down units, inspecting parts, washing parts, and rebuilding units. Additional duties may include shop organization, replacing inventory, and general maintenance on equipment. Welding and machining experience a plus but will train. Must have your own reliable transportation and come to work in clean clothes. This is a busy, high-energy shop. $18.00/hr to start. Random drug testing.
