Description
I'm a bassist.
Three projects to tell you about, all of them amazing, and all just begging for an amazing keyboardist! Maybe one or more gets your attention:
#1 Grateful Dead covers, musicians all over the age of 46 and likely to be fairly orthodox to a 70s and 80s dead sound with accurate changes. Potentially vast repertoir but mainly within this genre. Very experienced musicians.
#2 Grateful Dead and Phish, mostly much younger than 46, very high energy, with fearless daring and adventure.
#3 Jazz Funk with a drummer both of us in our middle years just starting out. Therefore, not too much for you to learn all at once and lots of flexibility. Open to all kinds of sublime 70s sounds including Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Grover Washington, Joni Mitchell, Eryca Badu...
Do one or more sound like your jam?
All kinds of ways to manage covid concerns.
Looking for someone who is a good person (wise, considerate, communicative, reliable) with a gifted ear and an improvisational musical mind, who is very comfortable with their keyboard and loves playing this kind of music. Things like age, gender, and race don't factor in. A lot depends on your schedule but drop me a line and I'll see what kind of musical hijinks we can enable!
p.s. I never intended to have three projects but... schedule and musical interests sort of sectionalized things. At this point I'm 100% inclined to continue with all of them; hopefully I can show you just why I feel that way on one or more; pure awesome potential.
