Handyman Needed for Numerous Projects/Properties

Experienced local real estate investor in search of experienced local handyman: I have been in the business over ten years and am in need of additional help. If you are an experienced individual who is not afraid to tackle all sorts of projects in areas throughout Columbus, please respond with interest. Most projects are value-add, taking distressed properties and turning them around. You'll not only need to be able to take care of complete kitchen and bath remodels, but you will also be doing run-outs for miscellaneous fixes at a number of different properties. You will also be expected to take care of all the little things we need done as part of our "make ready" process, preparing units to show and rent. You MUST BE A PEOPLE PERSON, able to listen and respectfully respond to tenant’s needs and concerns. You MUST BE DEPENDABLE and SHOW UP WHEN YOU SAY YOU WILL. If you have a positive attitude, are consistent, accountable, efficient, and can communicate on a daily basis, I'd like to hear from you. You can expect to be paid around $25 per hour, depending on your abilities and experience. Over time, if you do well, you will be paid more. You will be paid weekly based on hours. For the right person, this position will provide a large amount of part-time work with the strong possibility that it will become full-time in 3-6 months, possibly less. You need to have a relatively clean background and be willing to provide a valid form of identification. If your background is not great, but you feel like you fit all the other criteria and have your act together, please don't be afraid to respond. I have a zero tolerance policy for alcohol and drug use while on the job. Finally, I expect that you are the person on-site doing the work. It's fine if you have a helper or two and I am willing to negotiate fair pay for extra help. However, you are expected to be on-site working and supervising projects through to completion on a daily basis.
