We are looking to rehome our dog since we are no longer able to keep him. He is 4 years old terrier/ bulldog mix. We are looking for an active family who can take him on a walk everyday. He will be a perfect running companion, and also loves hiking. He walks well on a leash when he goes on walks he doesn't bark at people or other dogs. He only pulls at the beginning when we miss a day or two of walks. He is kennel trained and sleeps indoors in his kennel. He is very gentle with our chihuahua and are best friends. We are looking for a family with older children not because we are afraid of him biting but because he jumps on people and he is a big dog he needs training help staying calm when meeting new people he gets very happy and excited and forgets he is a big dog.. He knows how to sit or lay on command but you have to be an alpha he will listen to my husband and my 11 year old daughter but not me or my 18 year old daughter because he knows he can get away with stuff like jumping and trying to sit on our lap. Since me and my oldest are pushovers and he knows. I don't know if he is potty trained because he is never loose in the house and we adopted him from the pound. He did get out one night because I didn't properly close the door and roam and slept on the carpet but didn't have accidents or destroyed the house. He spend 7 months at the pound before being adopted by us that's why I really want to rehome him. I don't want him to go back but we can't keep him. Rehoming fee is negotiable but we are asking for a small fee just to ensure it goes to a responsible and caring owner.
