For about the price of a cup of coffee each day, Galleria at The Smith offers 35 affordable studios with 24/7 independent access, free wifi, and utilities, and conveniently located just one block from the University of Oregon campus near the corner of 13th and Alder. New and emerging artists interested in developing a craft are encouraged to explore creativity and learn from other artists through collaboration. Established artists are encouraged to develop a business or teach, and offer insight into the importance of investing in the creative process. Artists who sell never pay a commission. Spaces are available on the main floor with easy access near the brand new wash area, or on the second floor mezzanine with an open concept ceiling and skylights.
