The open position is titled Route Service Manager. The job duties are: -Loading and delivering automotive batteries to our biggest National account dealers M-F on preset routes -Sell new batteries to National Account dealers -Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to Distributorship. -Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships -Complete documentation on a timely basis by using a handheld computer/smartphone Qualifications: -Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more on a regular basis -Must possess current CA drivers license and have clean driving record. -Prior sales experience highly desirable -Good communication skills -Strong customer service skills. -High school diploma or GED equivalent -Ability to read, write and compute basic math. -Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales, customer service and delivery experience This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting and moving 40+ pound batteries for most of the shift, on and off of a 6 bay route truck. Hours are roughly 7-5 M-F NO WEEKENDS! Pay starts at $21 depending on experience Interstate Batteries offers full benefits- heath, dental, vision etc. 401k match.
