I was really lucky to be rescued by Bay Area German Shepherd Rescue; I'm a real sweetheart; I'm just four years old and love everyone I meet including well mannered dogs. I'd like a dog companion but really aren't into playing much at all, just like to hang out with my people and get belly rubs. My coat will need regular brushing to avoid those darned mats that us long coated kiddo's get and a country property without groomed yards would be a real challenge. I do like to investigate new scents and take long walks; I love cars but tend to get pretty vocal when riding - I'm just so excited to be going anywhere! Children are nice, but please - just older ones since I don't always know where toys and hands meet and I tend to "shake hands" with a bit too much enthusiasm!!! I have some nice training and tend to be a pretty chilled out lady, just wanting to be with my humans is my favorite thing. I'm a bit too interested in cats, so will do best in a home where I'm not tempted but squirrels, lizards and birds are fair game to chase.
