Our Irrigation Technician has the responsibility of inspecting and maintaining irrigation systems for our client. This person works with integrity and efficiency based on the job requirements, effectively providing quality inspections or repairs as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities • Perform irrigation inspections for contract maintenance clients and identify issues with irrigation systems • Perform irrigation repairs identified from inspection reports or at direction of management • Schedule/program all types of irrigation controllers • Communicate with managers and coworkers • Personal timekeeping through smartphone application • Safely operate company vehicle throughout DFW Requirements: • 1-2 years of landscape irrigation experience preferred. • Must have valid driver license with excellent driving record. • Must have current Texas Irrigator’s License or Irrigation Technician License -or obtain within 180 days of employment. • Basic knowledge on Irrigation controller programming • Knowledge of Weathermatic Smartlink System preferred. • Basic technology skills: navigation, use of tablets, smartphone, and applications • Must be able to Multi-Meter and Wire Locator. • Preferably bilingual, must speak English. • Must have basic time keeping and math skills to perform measurements, calculating, etc. • Must have problem solving, trouble shooting and demonstrate dependability and efficient work practices. • Desire to work in the outdoors • Eager to learn and acquire new skills. • Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees and the public. • Follow specific instructions accurately.
