Job Summary
The Banquet Set Up is responsible for the preparation, cleaning, and physical setup for all meetings and events in the facility.
Supervision
This position reports directly to the Banquet Manager

Responsibilities
1. Ensure that all event setups are completed as listed
2. Setup tables, chairs, staging, audio/visual and others as necessary to meet the needs of the event
3. Lock and unlock event spaces and storage areas
4. General light cleaning including, but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, emptying trash and other cleaning duties as assigned
5. Maintain facilities and equipment in good operating condition
6. General basic maintenance of facilities including, but not limited to: basic repairs, equipment assembly, changing light bulbs etc.
7. Return any AV equipment upon completion of event and store equipment properly
8. Moving boxes, equipment, furniture etc. into or out of storage
9. Keeping storage space tidy
10. Report all facility or equipment problems to the supervisor
11. Attend any scheduled meetings and training sessions
