We are better than Amazon! Full time and/or part time available. A growing “Product Fulfillment Services” company (competes with Amazon) located in Northbrook, Illinois is looking for a new member for our Team. We are looking for a talented individual to fill a general warehouse position that would mainly consist of picking and packing orders, shipping and receiving. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required: • Perform detailed goods inspection • Shipping and Receiving • Excellent attention to details and organizational skills • Picking and packing accuracy is a must • Ability to prioritize and multi-task • Strong communication skills: articulate both verbally and written • Good math skills • Experience with UPS, Fed-Ex and USPS shipping systems is a plus • Experience with ShipStation is a plus • Fork lift experience a plus, training and certification provided • Perform inventory and cycle counts • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned • Excellent customer communication skills Other Duties & Responsibilities: • Additional duties as assigned • Meets attendance and punctuality standards Education & Certifications: • High School Graduate with General Studies field of study preferred Working Conditions: • HVAC warehouse, air-conditioning and heat Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion • Able to work independently with minimum supervision • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Ability to transport 50 lbs. • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others • Able to quickly learn new systems and technology • Able to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level Join our team and live the power of technology!
