If you know who Rudy Sarzo is, you'll understand what a powerhouse he is working with Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot on stage and in the studio. Firestarter '82 needs that energy and proficiency to make these songs slam! I should mention a few things that we need to find the perfect fit for our metal band Firestarter '82: - You MUST have a passion for epic, oldschool metal (ex. - 80s Metallica, Iron Maiden, Tygers of Pan Tang, Ozzy, Yngwie, etc.) - Practices are every Wednesday between 9 and 2, sometimes until 4ish. - No sketching on practices. Be up front with us. - A bassist who can sing and has stage presence is a plus. - Tryouts are 6 sessions to learn a 9-10 song set. - Transportation is a plus, but hopefully you have a ride. - A good bass rig and a good music theory and counterpoint.
