Six Moon Designs is a dynamic Beaverton based ultra-light backpacking gear manufacturer with over 19 years in business. Our company is growing, and we are looking for a candidate who is looking to grow with us. Ideally, this person enjoys the outdoors, with a special focus on backpacking and hiking and is looking to learn more about the outdoor industry while working with a fun and energetic team. Your Job responsibilities will include: Seam Sealing • Hand applying seam sealing glue to a variety of Ultralight shelters. • Coordinating with our shipping manager to schedule which shelters should be prioritized. • Working with Shipping Manager to keep backstock organized • Mixing up and filling bottles of glue Light assembly of products • Cutting footprints • Assembling and bagging product kits and attaching a bag topper Warehouse: • Accepting packages • Assisting in unloading pallets, • Moving boxes General Responsibilities: • Covering for lunch breaks for our other warehouse staff • Additional responsibilities will vary What you get: • Stable employment in the Beaverton Area • Fun relaxed work environment • PTO accrued monthly from the date of hiring • 3% IRA Match after 90 day probationary period • 100% Paid Health Insurance for Employee after 90 day probationary period Please apply to this position by going to this google application link and filling out the form: Covid-19: We have been able to remain open and thrive by setting up social distancing in the work place as well as developing a sanitation schedule and requiring masks for anyone entering the building.
