CARPENTER - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION Job Location: South Austin** position IS FOR LONG TERM** Job Description: commercial carpenters ( GENERAL ALL AROUND) needed for long term opportunity in commercial construction environment. A qualified carpenter will have at least 1 years on a commercial construction site and have the ability to work rough carpentry to include safety hand rails, MISC BLOCKING BRACING AND MAYBE SOME SMALL concrete form setting WORK FOR PATCHING OR SMALL MISC CONCRETE, and various other rough carpentry tasks.. Skills/Qualifications: Use measuring devices for precision cuts ( tape measures; levels) Operating standard electrical equipment ( saws; drills; chop saws; routers; screw guns etc) Must have basic hand tools. Possess basic carpentry fundamentals as it relates to commercial ground up building. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly 8-10 hr days standing; lifting; bending; climbing stairs and ladders frequently. Good eyesite ( with corrective lenses is fine) and hearing is needed 512-258-5336
