Live-In/Out Full Time Nanny & Housekeeper Position

Two professional working parents are looking for someone to join their family and take care of their twin three-year-old girls. The ideal candidate is someone who is hard working, experienced with children and can handle day-to-day cleaning, cooking and supervision over children and can manage the family household. Candidates that can drive and are bilingual (e.g., Arabic, Chinese, French, or Spanish) are preferred but not required. Pet friendly is required. In accepting this position, you must be respectful of the family home, the parents time and child rearing decisions and the children, who will be in daycare for most of the morning and afternoons during the weekdays. In short, we are looking for someone who we can depend upon in assuring the safety of the family home and children. HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Preparing breakfast and dinner for the family Preparing for family events (e.g., birthday parties, setting dining table for guests, etc.) Handling the day-today laundry and chores of the home Assisting working parents with errands related to dry-cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. Taking out trash to trash disposal Dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, and sanitizing. Driving is not required but preferred. Dog walking, feeding, and cleaning. NANNY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Potty Training Preparing food for day-to-day feedings (meals, snacks, and school lunch). Carrying and babies and being engaged in their day-to-day feedings Supervising naps and adherence to daily scheduled Walks with children to playground and other events Other chores commonly associated in caring for children EXPERIENCE OF CANDIDATE Education: At a minimum, an Associate Degree is desired but not require Certification: CPR and first aid certification is desired but not required Experience: A minimum of at least seven (5) years of experience; preferably with twins. SCHEDULED TIMES & COMPENSATION Work Week: Monday through Friday with additional days as needed.
