Arbor’s Edge Tree Service is seeking crew members with a desire to pursue a career in arboriculture. Who we are: Arbor's Edge is a full service tree company serving the north Olympic Peninsula, primarily Clallam and Jefferson counties. Our services include pruning, technical tree removal, fruit orchard care, tree support systems, directional felling, tree planting, wildlife trees, brush clearing, and general plant health care. We are a small, 10-year-old company, ISA Certified Arborist operated and owned. We work to ANSI A300 in all of our services. This is a 3/4 time position, 30 hours/week, Tues-Thurs. Possible full time hours on a 4/10 schedule for motivated individuals with the right skills. What we offer: Wages starting at $18-22/hr DOE. PPE provided Safety Culture, Z133 standards Continued opportunities for advancement What we need: Candidates must have some combination of the following skills: Pruning Planting Fruit trees/Orchards Chainsaw operation Knots Basic Rigging Felling/Bucking Bucket/Aerial Lift Basic climbing, MRS, SRS Tool and Equipment Maintenance Operating Truck/Trailer Combinations Chipper Operation Skid Steer or Excavator Customer Service Management/Crew Lead Candidates MUST have: A minimum of 2 years experience in a green industry field (tree service, landscaping, nursery, commercial orchard, etc.) Preference will be given to applicants with actual tree service experience but we are willing to train the right individuals from other fields. Valid drivers license reliable transportation A clean driving record Must be able to operate a manual transmission Must be physical fit and able to work outdoors year round Must be presentable, with a professional attitude, and a desire to learn.
