Person needed to milk goats (by machine/pipeline) for goat dairy in Pine Bush. Part time job, but currently each milking is about 4 hours. (Currently average 27- 30 hours per week). 7 shifts per week. Which includes weekends Must be flexible and attentive to detail with a love of animals. Hours start at 7 am for mornings and 6 pm for evenings and continue until finished which depends on experience and time of year. Currently we need Mon, Tues, Sat nights and Friday and Sunday morning and night. (Off Wed & Thurs) There might be some flexibility in that schedule. You must have your own transportation. No ride sharing or depending on others for a ride please. If you like animals (goats in particular), have a strong work ethic, and don't mind getting dirty, please email. This is a physical job, requires the ability to be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Close proximity to Pine Bush is desirable. Training pay will be stipend only. Hourly wage starts when you are able to milk on your own(generally after about 4 shifts). There is premium pay for Sunday milkings.
