Geotech Engineering and Testing is looking to hire an ACI / NICET Certified & Non-Certified Material Construction Technician immediately. We are located near Humble off of 59 North and Will Clayton. If you have prior experience in the Geotechnical field it is a plus. This is a full time position Monday-Friday, some Saturdays required and Geotech Engineering and Testing offers good pay, benefits and advancement opportunities. Job Description: Employee will be working outside the office with all weather climates. Assist Engineering Lab in testing and collecting concrete samples for new road and bridge construction. Inspect, test, and measure materials for conformance to specifications. Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications. Record inspection and test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded. Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance-rejection status. Other duties assigned by the Manager. Compensation: Depending on experience and level of certification.
