Hi, I'm Ben! I'm a rock guitar player who's had his shots and wants to get back to making noise. I'm looking to join an established band, or start one up with cool talented people. I'm a punk rocker at heart, but I'm musically literate and fairly versatile, and I'm open to playing a lot of different styles. I've played everything from slowcore to ska-punk to power pop. I'm happy playing rhythm or lead guitar, with or without another guitarist. I'd also be willing to play bass in the right situation. I can sing lead or backup, but I absolutely do not need to sing to be happy. Same for songwriting. I'm happy to bring ideas, bring whole songs or collaborate, but I'm also fine just playing. I have pro-level gear and reliable transportation. I have a lot of stage and studio experience. If I'm outstanding at anything, I'd say I make a really good band member. I have a solid internal clock and an ear for guitar parts and tones that work well in whatever band I'm with. I don't need my band to make money; it's always nice if we get some bucks at the end of the night, but that isn't why I do it. I'm in my 40s, if that matters to you. I live on the north side, so please keep that in mind. (I'm not saying I wouldn't join a band that rehearsed in League City or something, just that it would need to be pretty damn magical.)
