Let's hang out, connect and meet our local Toledo creatives! Hey, it's the Apollo Team! Last meetup we brought the creatives of Kalamazoo together and now we are looking to help facilitate the growth of the Toledo creative community! Many people that were at the previous meetups are already friends and collaborating regularly and this is exactly what the Apollo dream is. Our dream is to bring passionate people together to create art and become friends. To create a community that is truly supportive and kind and where people can express themselves freely. Without you, this wouldn't work. Thank you for participating in our events along with all your contributions! With your help, we have become an amazing community! We’re excited to see how YOU grow and how we will continue to grow TOGETHER! So, let me fill you in on what happens at these meetups: We have 2 types of tickets. Lunch tickets start by meeting at a local restaurant to get food and drinks for 1-1.5 hours (this is a fantastic way to connect). After lunch, we meet at a location for all tickets. We hang out and wait for people to arrive for about 15-30 minutes, then roam the city, take photos and videos of anything and everything! It's that simple! We will have an itinerary of where we will be going on Google Maps. At the end of the day, we'll take a group photo to capture our time together! Bring any props and equipment you'd like, but remember, we will be walking around, so make sure it fits into/onto a backpack so you can be mobile. We suggest you bring just your camera with a few lenses and an on-camera flash/light or a highly portable off-camera flash/light. We advise against wagons (they are hard to get up and downstairs if there are any). For models, we may have a mobile changing popup tent for some meetups. We want to emphasize that this is a social event and the primary focus is to bring people together! We know there are people with social anxiety and that is okay, take things at your own pace and if you need a break, do whatever you need to. We just want you to know that everyone is very accepting and welcoming, so we hope that you find this to be a safe place where you can express yourself however you wish! But yeah, that's it. Safety Measures: We expect all photographers to wear their masks at all times and models to only take off their masks when shooting. We want to emphasize safety and that is one of our main concerns. *We will be checking temperatures and if you do not feel well or have been in contact with anyone with COVID, please stay home to protect yourself and others.
