The "Jazzy Sundays @ the Gem" concert series premier with Janice Codispoti and her Jazz Trio. Janice Lea Codispoti is an emergent jazz singer in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Janice has performed all over the world, from contemporary Christian music across Great Britain, to classical oratorio in Germany, to musical theater from Los Angeles to Washington DC. Since moving back to the Dayton area in 2014, Janice has returned to her first love, the jazz standard. Janice has performed with many of the area’s best jazz musicians and her CD “I Remember You” celebrates the gorgeous melodies and lyrics of The American Songbook. Janice is experienced in many different genres, and a live show may include music by Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Carole King, plus all of the great writers of jazz standards from the 30’s to today. The Hidden Gem Music Club is a new music venue opening May 2021 in Dayton, Ohio near Centerville.
