A simple gathering to walk, reflect and remember as a community of veterans and service partners. The Boston Vet Center and Brighton Marine is inviting veterans and service partners of the veteran community to come together and spend an hour or so in movement and reflection during Memorial Day week. The last year has been challenging for everyone, and as the world begins to open back up, it is appropriate to hold a space and think about those we have lost in service to our country, and what we have lost over the last year of COVID. Participants will be invited to remember and reflect during an intentional walk around pleasure Bay near Castle Island. At the end of the walk we will come together and hear some words about release, share any personal thoughts, and plant a small flag for those that have passed.
