Emergency Fire Services, Inc is a Restoration company located in Maspeth. We are a family owned and operated business you can trust.In the event of a fire or flood devastation, our emergency services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We will quickly alleviate all property damage, secure the environment immediately and strive to remove any potential future problems. Looking for an experienced Project Manager for the following duties: • Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction • Provide priority response to potential customers • Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing computer hardware and Xactimate • Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate • Schedule, coordinate and oversee crews and resources to provide service on active projects to include subcontractors • Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process • Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles and other material assets • Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times • Participate in recruiting, hiring and training production teammates Position Requirements • Effective written and oral communication with intermediate math and computer skills • Experience in cleaning/restoration a plus. Xactimate® experience required • Valid drivers license required • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals • Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law • Good with computer and technology skills.
