We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working employee to join our client’s team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. -Works as a general aide on land survey projects, clears heavy brush and thickets -Drives stakes, takes simple notes, cleans and cares for equipment. -Will work in the field through all kinds of terrain, uneven ground and sometimes water -Dig ground using a pick, shovel and other hand tools to search for and locate survey monuments -Hold and plum rod in obtaining elevations and distances -Gathers equipment and helps load and unload survey vehicles -Performs other duties as assigned -Insures the safety of all crew members, clients, and the public -Carries survey supplies during the collection of necessary survey data -Works closely with Instrument man to execute the survey data -Receives assignments from Crew Chief -Insures that all equipment needed is loaded and ready to use -Insures that all equipment is properly maintained -Maintains adequate supplies in the truck -Keeps truck and equipment clean and organized -Clears land or line for data collection -Communicates any equipment and supply issues to the Party Chief and the office -Maintains professional image and client anonymity -Performs other duties as assigned.
