Fitcon Classic 2021 Welcome to this year’s Fitcon Classic! This year on June 4-5 RX and Scaled division athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skill at Thanksgiving Point’s Electric Park. This year will be larger than ever as we take our community's competition to the next level. Athletes and spectators will be joined by special guests, sponsors, and a community of fitness enthusiasts as we compete in the middle of the Fitcon Expo. DATE: June 4-5 Friday June 4: RX Athletes 4PM - 10PM Day 1, The Gauntlet Saturday June 5: RX, Masters, Scaled Athletes 8AM-5PM Location: Electric Park 3003 N. Thanksgiving Way, Lehi, UT 84043 Divisions: RX, Masters, Scaled Swag: RX - Sponsored swag bag and 2 shirts, Entry into Fitcon for both days. Special access to Fitcon Classic special guests. Scaled - Sponsored swag bag and 1 shirt, entry into Fitcon for both days.Special access to Fitcon Classic special guests. Available Team Slots - 32 RX Men, 32 RX Women, 32 Scaled Men, 32 Scaled Women, Masters Men 8, Masters Women 8 RX Division Standards Remember all of the Division Standards below are just generalizations of what may be in the competition. As with all workouts, just having the skill is the first step…how efficiently and how quickly a team can complete these movements will dictate how successful the team can be. Snatch (136/85lb), Clean & Jerk (225/125lb), Chest to Bar Pull-Ups, Double-Unders, Ring/Bar Muscle-Ups, Toes to Bar, Handstand Walk, Strict Handstand Push-Ups, Legless Rope Climbs, Single Leg Squats, Proficiency performing any movements with dumbbells (50/35lb) MASTERS DIVISION Both athletes need to be 35 and up. Remember all of the Division Standards below are just generalizations of what may be in the competition. Snatch (115/65lb), Clean & Jerk (225/125lb), Chest to Bar Pull-Ups, Double-Unders, Ring/Bar Muscle-Ups, Toes to Bar, Handstand Walk, Strict Handstand Push-Ups, Legless Rope Climbs, Single Leg Squats, Proficiency performing any movements with dumbbells (50/35lb) SCALED DIVISION I am most excited for this division. This is an incredible opportunity to jump into the competition world. Consider this your sweet 16 of competitions. It’s fun! It's doable! Check out the movements below and think to yourself, Oh yeah I can do that! I want as many scaled teams signed up as Elite/RX. I want this to be the best first competition for all! These movements may be in your programming. (But are not limited to) Single Unders, Body Weight Movements, Lite Barbell Work, Cleans no heavier than 135#, Gymnastic movements will have possible pull ups. Don't worry if you can't do one you are on a team! Work together and have fun! The Gauntlet Friday night will be a night to remember! We are talking lights, Djs, competition, special guests, and a crowd. There is only 1 workout on Friday night for the RX division. It is a 55 minute test of fitness. There will be extra cash and swag prizes given out for winners of this event.
