I was walking down Eastern Parkway and had just reached Franklin when a lovely laughing woman (late 30s to 40s, Black) stopped me to ask if she could take a picture of me with my comically large stack of library books. I have light purple/grey hair and was wearing all black, and we talked for a few mins about the books I had recently read. She said she ran a blog called Brown Girl Book Club, but it didn’t occur to me until I’d already left to ask where I could find the blog so I could see the photo she’d taken. I’ve tried searching for a blog that matches what she described and unfortunately there are too many book clubs by similar names and I can’t find the right one. She said she often interviews book lovers and had just interviewed a 93 year old woman earlier, her “oldest reader ever.” If anyone knows this woman or can help me find this book club please help me!
