Two one hour workshops: (1) Evangelism and Discipleship are Mutually Inclusive and (2) Discovering the Evangelists in Your Church. On Monday, May 10, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, The Dallas Baptist Association Evangelism Department will be hosting the second in a series of workshops designed to equip pastors and leaders to reach out to this next generation of Americans. Called “Good News Mondays,” these two hour long workshops will offer practical help and resources for evangelism and discipleship. Monday, May 10, our workshop deals with two issues: (1) how to strike a balance between evangelism and discipleship so that these disciplines are recognized as being two sides of the same coin. In a segment entitled "Evangelism and Discipleship Are Mutually Inclusive" Minister of Missions Nelson Fonseca will provide helpful insights in how to do just that. (2) The second issue is, how do you find those people in your church and, once found, then equip them to be evangelists. Pastor David Galvan, will draw on his many years of pastoral experience to share some tips with you on you you can find your church's next team of evangelists . There is no charge for the workshop, but you need to register so we know you are coming.
