Lincoln East Expressions
Expressions is a performance completely run by the students who participate in East Singers, the East Varsity concert choir. This year's show theme is Heroes vs. Villains, showcasing songs pitting classic stories of good vs. bad. Singers is split into 2 sets and the groups select, arrange, and choreograph the full show. The show includes 4 set songs, a ballad, an opener and closer, 6 featured solos or duets, and 2 songs by the E-Band. The E-Band is comprised of East High students. A highlight for East High since the early years of the school, this spring-time tradition is a not-to-be-missed event.
Seating for this year's show has been amended slightly to allow for increased social distancing. However, the East Vocal Music Department is excited to welcome an audience of 75% capacity for each night. There is not a cap on how many guests each performer may welcome.
Doors will open at 6:30pm. The LPS District's policy states that if directors control for the total participants performing in events not to exceed 75% capacity of venue, spectators on a first-come, first-serve basis can attend performances as long as the following safety protocols can be met by the spectators:
1. Spectators as a family group are seated together and must wear face covering.
2. Non-family spectators must also wear a face covering and are asked to maintain as much physical distance as possible.
The East High Singers are so excited to welcome anyone to come and attend the show of the year!
