Mt. Carmel UMC on 4265 Ebert Road in Winston Salem will be hosting a free outdoor family movie night under our picnic shelter. Mt. Carmel UMC on 4265 Ebert Road in Winston Salem will be hosting a free outdoor family movie night under our picnic shelter on Friday, May 14 from 8pm-10:30pm. Guests should bring a lawn chair or blanket. The movie will be MIRACLES FROM HEAVEN (PG) and is based on the incredible true story of the Beam family. When Christy (Jennifer Garner) discovers her 10-year-old daughter Anna (Kylie Rogers) has a rare, incurable disease, she becomes a ferocious advocate for her daughter's healing as she searches for a solution. After Anna has a freak accident, an extraordinary miracle unfolds in the wake of her dramatic rescue that leaves medical specialists mystified, her family restored, and their community inspired. The movie is free but popcorn, candy, donuts, soda, and pizza by the slice will be sold as a fundraiser. All donations will support our children's ministry summer camp scholarships. Mt. Carmel is located at the corner of Ebert and West Clemmonsville Road, across from Circle K. The picnic shelter is above the church on Ebert Road entrance. We hope to see you there!
