The Mustard Seed Urban Farm School is hosting an Introductory 5 week course on the ins and outs of starting a small vegetable or herb garden
The Mustard Seed Urban Farm School is a collaboration with the Bread for Life Food Pantry and the Mustard Seed Faith Ministries, which are both housed at 317 Jefferson Street in Kernersville. This innovative course is perfect for people who are interested in learning how to garden with sustainable practices. The purpose of these courses is to expose the urban communities of Forsyth county to food sustainability with a vision of self-sufficiency through food.
Each course will be $35 which goes toward supporting the instructor of the course as well as the Bread of Life Food Pantry.

Saturday, April 24th
-Building Raised Beds, Soil Preparation, and Seed Planting
Thursday, April 29th- Irrigation and Fertilization
Saturday May 1st
- Weed Control, Natural Pest Management, and Fertilization
Thursday, May 6th or 8th
- Harvesting
Thursday May 13th or
Saturday May 15th - Processing
How about Juicing, Canning, Soaps, and Dehydration
