Job Description Vista Grande Villa is seeking reliable, spirited, Housekeepers or Laundry staff that will be primarily responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments and commons areas within a Senior Living Community. Shift: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Full Time Responsibilities: Performs general duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathroom(s), kitchens, dusting, and spot cleaning carpet. Any other cleaning duties necessary to meet VGV/customer standards and state requirements. Performs general housekeeping duties in hallways, commons areas, laundry rooms, offices and public areas. Accomplishes work in the order or priority set by the Director, Assistant Director or designee. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director, Assistant Director or designee. Punctuality and attendance is an essential factor. Must be committed to providing excellent customer service and to Vista Grande Villa Standards of Performance. Qualifications: High School Diploma / Equivalent Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required. Fundamental knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning, chemicals and sanitation techniques. Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, peers and supervisors. Requires tact and courtesy. Ability to plan and organize work. Ability to maintain resident confidentiality of all information. Job Type: Full-time
