Detours Planned At College Ave. Bridge For GLX Work

MEDFORD, MA — Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be restricted on the College Avenue bridge at Boston Avenue at times on Saturday, May 8 for Green Line Extension work. Temporary detours are expected at times during the morning and early afternoon to accommodate the lift of a permanent, prefabricated pedestrian bridge, which will run parallel over the MBTA right of way. This new bridge will function as the main connection between College Avenue, the entrance to the future Medford/Tufts station and Boston Avenue.
