Responsible for performing lift installs and repairs under the guidance and supervision of the lift team, sales associate and home access manager. Gather materials to handle on job sites, unload & load materials from trucks. Keep job sites clean, cover surfaces with plastic material to protect them. Assist with the installation of ceiling lifts, stair lifts, platform lifts and modular ramps. Assist with general installation tasks under direction. Such as: cut rails to specified dimensions; hold track and brackets in place for fastening or cutting; drill holes in lumber, dig and prep for ramps, work in attic for fastening ceiling track. Under supervision, repair lift systems as directed or instructed. Assist with specialty installations of lifts, etc. Run errands for materials/ tools. Interact with clients if approached. Describe basic services. Refer job related questions to supervisors. Ensure Home Access standards and all applicable codes/regulations are followed on site. Perform other jobs in office/warehouse/job site as needed. Monitor and maintain tools, storage, maintenance, re-supply, coordinating with other staff. Provide deliveries when required. This position is on the job training. Worker is expected to actively seek improvement of skills and knowledge of techniques and tools. Additional training may be provided from the manufacturer, travel expenses will be paid by the company. Driver's License and High School/GED required.
